Four Months in Three Weeks (A Tour Diary) – Tampa, FL – June 10th, 2009

Hi and welcome to the blog.  We've returned safely from our 21-day tour of the east coast.  It was quite an amazing time and best summed up by Chase (our road manager and friend since childhood) as "Four months of life in three weeks."  So , I'm going to be recounting our  happenings with pictures and videos. I hope you enjoy them.  Feel free to leave comments. Especially if they come at Dan's expense.  :D

June 10, 2009: Well...let's just say the tour didn't start off exactly as planned.  After we arrived in Tampa, we learned that the gig at Gaspar's Grotto was cancelled.  Undeterred,  we did what any traveling band of twenty-somethings would do; we went to Busch Gardens.  Since we were staying at my sister's place, my nephew Lance accompanied the boys and I as we drove over to the theme park, rode some coasters, ate chocolate funnel cakes and had a blast.

Dan challenged some of his fellow 11-year-olds in a HulaHooping Contest.  I love the look on Lance's face right before it starts...

It was a good day and at its conclusion, we were very ready to play some music...

On to Orlando...
